The Department of Civil Engineering, born with the institute in 2011, has dedicated itself to improving quality education and academic excellence and developing both community-oriented and industry-based research and consultancy. With full-fledged laboratories, highly qualified faculty, advanced equipment and testing machines, and professional software, the department has been demonstrating remarkable progress to achievement.

Students who have passed out of the department have shown merit and competence both in India and other countries. Our Faculty achieved recognition by being conferred with the best faculty awards and rewards from various forums. The departments have been successfully carrying out sponsored seminars, conferences, non-formal courses, awareness programs, etc.

The department has excellent laboratory facilities to meet the requirements of undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering and also to facilitate consultancy and material testing activities.

Surveying Laboratory
Surveying takes the foremost place in the planning, designing, and execution of any kind of construction work. Moreover, knowledge of surveying plays a vital role in the professional practice of civil engineers and architects. Hence, the students are introduced to a course on surveying, and provided with ample time and equipment to perform the field exercises on their own. The survey lab Consists of a Total station, GPS, Electronic theodolite, Transit theodolite, dumpy levels, plane tables, compass, etc.,

Strength of Material Laboratory
The strength of Materials lab is equipped with a Universal testing machine, Rockwell Brinnell Vickers hardness machine, and Compression strength testing machine, spring testing machine, Impact Testing Machine (Izod / Charpy), Deflection Testing Machine, and Torsion Testing Machine. etc.

Hydraulics Laboratory
It is fully equipped with all necessary equipment along with its accessories as required for courses. The laboratory has kept pace with modern technological advancements with the addition of new equipment as and when required.

The Hydraulic laboratory is equipped with flow-measuring equipment like orifices, mouthpieces, notches, orifice meters, Venturimeter, a water meter, Pitot tubes, and Reynolds apparatus. The fluid machinery laboratory has a Pelton wheel, Kaplan turbine, Francis turbine, multistage Centrifugal pumps, Jet pump, Gear oil pump, Submersible pump, Vertical turbine pump test rig, Compressor pump test rig, and Reciprocating pump.

Environmental Engineering Laboratory
The Environmental Engineering Laboratory is soundly equipped to meet the academic requirements of the undergraduate program. Modern equipments are added periodically keeping abreast of the latest technological advancements which in turn helps us to render assistance to the students in carrying out innovative projects and to maintain stringent quality and accuracy in our test procedures.

Digital pH meter, Turbidity meter, Conductivity meter, BOD Incubator, Flame Photometer, and DO & TDS analyzer, are the major highlights of the laboratory.

Concrete Laboratory
Concrete is the most widely used building material. It is versatile and has got desirable engineering properties. In our material testing laboratory, the properties of the materials like cement, fine aggregate, and coarse aggregate can be studied. More the properties of fresh concrete in terms of workability can be studied with the help of a slump cone, Vee Bee densitometer, and compaction factor test. The properties of hardened concrete can be studied by destructive testing and nondestructive testing methods.

Computer Laboratory
The computer laboratory has to provide knowledge on computer-based analysis, design & drafting to the students and carry out research. The computational laboratory is well equipped with the latest software like AUTOCAD and Revit.
